WHAT:
Holy Family Cathedral is hosting a Marriage Workshop, bringing in the highly recommended marriage enrichment partner, Relate Well. This group comes to us by the Diocese and is used by many Tulsa parishes for marriage events. This is a workshop focused on marital communication skills. Throughout this weekend we will learn to better love, respect, and forgive. Whether your marriage is on the rocks, or is strong and healthy, this workshop is for you!
What can you expect?
- Master the Language of Love — Learn communication and emotional skills that help you truly hear each other and be heard, turning conversations into connections.
- Become Your Relationship’s Guardian — Discover how embodying Goodwill, Respect, Humility, and Empathy creates an unshakeable foundation that protects your relationship from within.
- Unlock What Matters Most — Identify your unique relational needs and learn to meet them in ways that strengthen rather than strain your bond.
- Heal Your Story — Gain powerful insights into how your personal and family history shapes your relationship patterns.
- Harness the Power of Restoration — Understand forgiveness not as weakness, but as the ultimate strength that rebuilds trust and deepens intimacy.
WHEN:
We will meet Friday, Oct. 2nd from 6:00-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 3rd from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Dinner on Friday night and breakfast and lunch on Saturday will be provided. Childcare will be offered for children ages 2-11.
WHERE:
This event will take place in the Holy Family Cathedral Heiring Auditorium.
WHY:
Just as priests go on retreats every year to strengthen the vows of their vocation, married couples ought to do the same. This isn’t about following someone else’s relationship blueprint. It’s about becoming the skilled, mature, and loving partner your relationship needs and discovering that when you change how you relate, everything changes.
Child Care:
Child care is available for children ages two through eleven.
