Stewardship Renewal

During this year’s Stewardship Renewal, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in deepening your prayer life. It is through time spent in prayer that we will encounter God, develop an intimate relationship with Him, and find peace and joy. This relationship will affect our entire lives and help us become good stewards of all that God has given us.

Prayerfully consider how God is calling you to use your Time, Talent, and Treasure and commit to those actions by filling out a Commitment Card.

Construction at the Cathedral

Holy Family Cathedral’s three towers are an iconic part of the Tulsa skyline.

From now until December 2025, workers will install a new copper roof on the Cathedral. Scaffolding will encompass the church from the lower parts of the roof to the tops of the crosses.

The Father’s Day storm of 2023 dealt significant damage to the three spires and the lower roof. Cathedral Rector Father Brian O’Brien and the church’s finance council have chosen Executive Exteriors to begin repairs.

Becoming Catholic

Holy Family Cathedral’s program for the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is Becoming Catholic. This process of OCIA was established for the universal Church for individuals to become Catholic and receive the sacraments of initiation — Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. This initiation process also involves a parish community experiencing a renewal in faith as it prepares and welcomes new members into the Church. The Order speaks of conversion as a “spiritual journey.” Centered on fostering a deep relationship with Jesus and the Church he founded, this journey takes place through distinct stages over a period of time suitable to bring about a thorough catechesis, significant experience of the parish community, and commitment to the liturgical and moral life of the Catholic faithful.

Why should I register?

Joining a parish gives you a sense of belonging in a parish community.

· It is a commitment to practice your faith.

· It allows the parish priests and staff to get to know you better, welcome you, and minister to you. This is especially important in times of crisis so that the pastoral staff can attend to your spiritual needs.

· Registration helps you stay connected to your parish and helps the parish stay connected to you through newsletters, emails, etc.

· Registered active members can more easily become godparents and sponsors for others.
