The workers removed all the scaffolding from the central spire, took down four large beams, and are removing the remainder of the elements that supported the men and women who worked on the spires.

At the same time, work on one of the two smaller spires is underway. The small spire suffered some damage due to vandalism in 2025. The waterproof membrane has been replaced and roofers are reinstalling the copper shingles.
