The Discipleship Catholic Youth Conference, aka DCYC, is the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma’s annual event for high school students. It brings together participants from across the diocese to engage in sacraments, enjoy music, hear inspiring talks, and come together in fellowship. This conference fosters a sense of community and spiritual growth among the youth, providing a dynamic environment for faith and fellowship.
The purpose of DCYC is to bring Oklahoma (and beyond) high school youth together in a lively atmosphere to hear the Gospel proclaimed and to experience further conversion towards discipleship with Jesus Christ through partaking in the rich Sacramental life of the Church, engaging in inspirational praise and worship, and hearing talks from compelling speakers.
This year’s theme is Rise Up: Saints in the Making, and our patron saint is St. Kateri Tekakwitha!
Our keynote speakers, Oscar Rivera, Beth Davis, and Tanner Kalina, will lead us deeper into the heart of the Gospel, preaching the Kerygma, the love of God, and the gift of the Eucharist. Lunch is provided, and there will be light breakfast snack options. Additionally, there will be exhibitors selling merchandise throughout the day, similar to years past.
Register before November 7 here. The cost is $50 per person and is non-refundable.
Be sure to complete a Event Permission Form Minor updated and return it to Alexus Nguyen, anguyen@tulsacathedral.com.
