Cathedral Rector Father Brian O’Brien will bless the renovated choir loft and organ on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at about 1:00 p.m.

The family of longtime parishioner Matthew Coughlin made possible a thorough renovation of the choir loft which had remained untouched since the installation of the Cathedral’s pipe organ in 1984.

While the most dramatic phase of the renovation was repainting the organ case to match the rest of the church, several other parts of the loft were upgraded. New wood flooring replaced painted sheets of plywood. New wooden chairs replace metal ones. Several repairs to the organ were made.
